Reflections...
The past week is really interesting -- a lot of events happened which made me do so much reflections that I have so much to type about. So maybe let me start in chronological order.
Basically Sunday – Tuesday was a pretty slack period in camp, just the usual crap and ‘lobo’ lifestyle that I’ve come to associate 3 Signals with. However, Wednesday was pretty happening, as I had to be on standby just in case my boss wanted to move off (if you still do not know, I was involved in Exercise Mousedeer). Then I got activated on Wednesday night at around 7, but my vehicle just parked at 30 SCE until the next day 5 am before it moved off. So I spent the night talking, smsing and trying very hard to sleep in the mosquito infested 30 SCE parade square which was totally unbearable.
The worse thing was that we were supposed to cross the dumb river, but we din’t due to cat 1 so we went back, and it was more of suffocating and dying from the stupid sun before exercise cut. And I must say that I detest the two bosses of mine.
Anyway, the sad part was that today, I got caught by my CSM buying food for Mingjie. It was damn lame, especially when he started screwing Mingjie and asking him "who are you to give him permission" and MJ responded with "no one, sir". Haha, that was quite comical. And of course, the whole story of breakfast was equally funny, especially with Ernest standing behind and doing some signals. Oh well, it’s a pretty close shave and I think I shall bring in my dreamcatcher to ward myself of this kind of ‘evil’.
Camps aside, I was happy that I was mentioned in one of my friend’s blog (yupz, I read your blog on the songs =)). Hmm, it reminded me of the amazing coincidence that we had (especially for the songs, I think its real amazing….), but I must say that I do think we share certain common outlook on life.
Anyway, I’m quite glad that my sis got her 2nd Upper Honours. Lets hope that she gets either a good job or the chance to pursue her Masters now.
