Well, its now back to my weekly update. I guess this blog has just degenerated into a weekly report of the past week’s happenings. To put it nicely, it’s an online diary. Well, that’s crap cause it is the total opposite of what I intended it to be like. But then, I am seriously suffering from writer’s block – my ideas are now as sparse as vegetation is in a desert. So let me just carry on with my weekly update. Haha.
This week was interesting. On Monday, we realised that I Have A Date With Vampire 3 is now currently showing in Hong Kong, and boy, all the eagerness and anticipation my platoon mates all have. And not to mention it, we watched all the first 5 episodes by Wed. Haha. Its cool, and totally eye-catching, which is amazing considering how crap the story line is. Anyway, I’m now looking forward to watching the whole series. Come to think of it, I also want to watch MARS, the Insiders and Gongfu Soccer too. Argh…..So much yet so little time….
Tuesday was busy. Totally crazy and hectic. There was a battalion run, followed by a mockup. Luckily we went 201 on Wednesday or else we would all have died….. Anyway, 201 was a bad place. 2 Stratus…. GOD!!!! 2 whole sets easily weigh over 800kg… And costs over a million. Well well, at least the 3-5 people who came plus some of the regulars finally understand our pain.
Thurs was SOC and mockup. Busy day again. Sighed, what a bad week, especially since no specs are around for my platoon. Good thing was went home on Thurs cause Friday going to Suntec.
Friday was a real hectic and busy period for me…….Woke up at 630, slogged at Suntec (with setup and of course had to buy tie…) then din’t have a chance to sit down as I was helping to find passes for the guests. This year NDP Sponsorship Launch has such a huge turnout that I bet a lot of the organisers were thrown off guard, and the new Registration Counter was busy like hell (well not to say that the sponsors were irritated with the long queue). But it was a good experience, although there were also several embarrasing moments in Suntec (I thought we look like underpaid salesman/security guard/waiter cause we were dressed in black and white with a dark tie…so mafia like!!!).
Sat I went out to watch Shark’s Tale….Not a good movie in my opinion, cause the ending was crappy, same for the story. But it’s real hip and cool and modern, and really lame so I guess that makes it a good form of entertainment. Overall, I must say its not that bad. Oh yea, bought some clothes too. And I saw May Day new album at that CD shop at Pacific Plaza……really tempted to buy but thought it was too expensive…Oh ya, and I realised that China Black is at Pacific Plaza…din’t know that.
Oh, I finally got a chance to eat the Shilin Ji Pa…So disappointing!!! Its not as crispy and tasty as the original!!! And not as big as well!!!
Hmm, guess life still goes on and I’m now at home on Sunday, broke and sitting in front of my comp. This coming week is a short week as book out on Wed and the next book in is Mon night. But then all the Uni people are busy with work and exams. Sigh…I have no idea how I’m going to spend it…….
