Now, for the first 4 paragraphs, I can briefly summarise it that any worker, if he is required to do much more than what he is within his original job scope, he needs to be compensated with much more than the negative effects of taking on the additional work.
The remaining few paragraphs basically means that in any relationship, the worker will expect his boss to reward him for any extra work. If there is no such understanding between both parties, the worker will not do the additional stuff for his boss.
To summarise, if an individual is to do more, he must be rewarded with even more. If his boss fails to pay him back appropriately, the individual will slacken and not do any additional work in future.
