Well...

I don't really know what to blog about. The past few weeks went by without any thing exciting that I can actually say, so life is pretty good (and boring at a lot of moments too!). One thing I must say is that I'm now sick of Jurong Point. I guess I will start to tour around both varsities real soon.

Anyway, I think GArfield is a real cute movie that is real nice, simple, family entertainment. Its real cute to see GARfIeld!!! Ok, guess I like garfield to a large extent. I'm looking forward to watching terminal soon!

Oh, I am currently on a vcd buying spree. Weird right? I bought 8 VCDs over the past 2 weeks. I'm now scared and petrified as to what kind of spendthrift I have actually become!!

Anyway, I made the most economic irrational decision of my life (very very likely) when I decided to donate 6 bucks a month to NKF. Dumb right? Don't remind me cause even I am also regretting about it. Its not that I am a miser who refuses to donate to charities but the NKF?? And some more monthly?? That's a little bit too much for anyone to take.

In fact, I thought of how to justify economically why a lump sum donation might appeal more to people than a constant monthly payout. Haha, I thought of using the Keynesian AD model to explain, but I realised I couldn't justify too many stuff. In fact, I think indifference curve analysis will suffice. Or is it the irrational human behaviour framework which I saw before where people tend to feel more 'discomfort' at a small loss while a larger loss only makes a person feels a little more painful? (I think that's the main reason, although I think the idea that you are constantly losing some cash here and there hurts too by affecting the budget line). I'm not bothering to do much of a detailed analysis here.

Anyway, I saw this article in the Economist that makes me better appreciates human beings. Our ability to cooperate and scheme against each other is truly amazing. Without it, economic processes will not have developed and a lot of things in this world will never happen. Humans are truly amazing.

5 day week is starting this month (according to my S1) so I'm loving every bit of my life now (with the exception of MOKing bird??)

Hope to blog again next week. Bon JouR!!!
