The Weekend
The weather these days is just too hot man! Seriously, I have no idea how I'm going to survive till end May.
A lot of things sure happened over the past few days. Hikaru came back from JCC (failing it, quite sad hor), and he kicked up quite a big fuss from what I hear from those back in camp. Thank god I'm outside, and thus out of his iron claws. Haha.
Anyway, Sat had my first lesson. I found it ok, although I admit I wasn't well prepared. Oh, now that I know what topics I'm going through with her, I've managed to dig up materials for her to work with. Went down to town on Sat too. Hanged around kino, walked around a bit and ended up at NYDC for supper (sort of). Caught a bit of EPL too.
Sunday was more happening, as we wanted to eat dim sum buffet. Rushed all the way to Long Men at Harborfront, but it was fully booked. Then we had to rush over to Hotel Excelsior River View restaurant which also has dim sum buffet. Coincidentally, both restaurants are under the same management, haha. Well, the buffet was not bad, considering that it cost only about $17 per person. We ate like over 70 dishes, so its not bad (there were 10 of us). After that, walked around citylink, marina square and suntec. I saw Mr Lam too! Ha, he didn't changed much (and I didn't as well cause he could recognised me!)
Well, I saw the huge mass of people all queuing up for the SK II goodie bags, well I think those must be free or else why will people ever queued up for it? About evening time, we left for town, walked about a bit, then moved to Piazza (at dhoby ghaut), to catch soccer. Anyway, I am very pissed over the fact that the staff at Piazza are so lousy caused my friend paid with his VISA mini but they never give the 15% discount that UOB pasted so bigly on its online dining guide. Hmm, if I ever go back there I will make sure I get the discount!
Had driving lesson today. Then came back, watched Wet Dreams. It is really quite lame, I must admit, and I'm looking forward to watching Wet Dreams 2.
Oh ya, I can't wait for next week to come cause I'm totally broke after I splurged on Jade Empire Limited Edition. Ha. But the game is quite good so far.
Booking in tonight, so let's hope that things will be peaceful for the coming week. Oh, Chunsz just left for Brunei last Tuesday, but Edwin is back from Taiwan.
