AnotheR quick nOte
Ha, I never expected an editor in Straits Times to also air his views on the blogging incident as mentioned in my previous post. Well, I must say that I agree with him to some extent to, and some of his ideas were similar with what I posted last week.
Seriously, if you ask me why I blog, there are a lot of reasons behind it. Of course, I want to tell the others around me what has happened to me recently, since I cannot possibly be updating everyone every time I meet them as that will really take up too much time and countless repetitions on my part. Anyway, it is like a warm up just before I fly abroad, cause by then you guys can only know of what is happening in my life through my blog, since most of you all will not be by my side.
Of course, the other reason is to exercise my English as well as showing off a part of me that few of you actually know. Hope that you all have come to realise how diverse I can be.
Anyway, a brief update, I went to Mambo last wed, and I must say I enjoyed the music a lot. The sad part is that there were not really a lot of girls whom I like, and I thought the crowd was a bit old too. Anyway, I hate the management because they now charge you $3 more if you want to go to phuture as well. Horrible right? Oh, I also found out that Visa mini entitles you to 1 free drink at the wine bar outside Zouk. Shiok right?
Was at SPH from Tuesday to Thursday, had a good time working there this time round, even though some of the events needed a lot of hard work to obtain. But it was good, and really had a good time. Going back there next Tuesday and Wednesday as well, not sure whether can drag to Thursday or not. I guess all this depends on whether Shane has a lot more to add.
Well, exercise diamondlink this coming week. Amazingly, it has become an exercise in which we were not supposed to be involved into one that we literally run the whole show. Cool right? Talk about planning by my bosses. Nay, as what I quote my friend, "they are the NDP PC, not Exercise PC". Ha. In the end, we need to rely on the hard work of several LSG (guess what it stands for hehe).
Oh, I got a tuition job from SL side. Quite good, $40 and hour, one a half hours every week. Well, hope the student is hardworking as well. I am looking forward to the job, even though I have not touched my books for closed to a year. At least it will let me get back in touch with some of those stuff which I will eventually need when I go to university. It is also a good chance to try my hand at teaching to.
Oh, passed my advance theory as well. I am now just waiting to book my TP, which I think should be sometime in early July. If all goes well, I can get my Class 3 license by then and yea, I can drive!!!
Anyway, the past few weekends were boring. Hopefully the upcoming ones will be better, especially since you university people would have finished your exams by then. Come on, let your holidays begin!
