The Half Blood Prince

Finished reading Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Hmm, despite the entire furor over it, I found the book to be a little disappointing. Ok, maybe it’s because of the fact that I missed those children books in which the plot was nice and simple. Yes, the latest installment in the series is much darker than previous one, and there is significantly much less action and adventures – instead, the book focused more on a lot of background story-telling, it seems that Rowling must do this in order to enable the series to end on a complete note. I mean, she did her job of building up Voldemort’s character.

Personally, I still like Book 4 the best. Hopefully, the last book will not disappoint… Oh yea, of course this 6th book did a pretty good job of showing a more matured, grown-up Harry Potter and gang. Well, it did has some twists as well… I shall not spoil the fun for the rest of you who are planning to read it. Hope you all will enjoy the book better than I do.
