Change?

I think that I have become much more extroverted and friendly compared to the past. Well, I remembered during my secondary school days, I was rather shy, i.e. when I see new people, I will find it difficult to talk to them. However, it seems that nowadays when I see my friends’ friends, I can just click along with them and join in their conversations. It seems that the so-called barrier has diminished for me.

For example, I watched Snow Wolf Lake with CX, JH, and 2 of CX’s friends. Ok, I know one of them because last time I’ve caught a movie with him and I also had talked rubbish with him too, but the other is a total stranger to me. But last night, during the show and after it, we could go had a quick munch and chat about the performers as well as other things in life as if we’ve known each other for quite some time. Amazing right?

Yea, I realized that my circle of friends had gradually grown bigger, and I think that is good cause at least it means that I’m not an introverted person who just keeps to himself. Well, hopefully my new found socializing skills will come in handy next year when I will get to meet my fellow school mates. I’m truly looking forward to meeting new people but at the same time, I cherish all those that I have now and before. Yupz, whoever is reading this, please tag or message me about any future outings. I will love to catch up with you all!

Oh yea, talking about meeting up with people, I find it amusing that almost all my friends seemed to have condemned Dunman’s mid-autumn celebration yesterday. Well, it is the first time in ages that I know that they are actually inviting the alumni back, but almost all my friends just couldn’t be bothered about it. Isn’t it interesting? I mean I know a lot of people in other schools who will go back whenever their alma mater has a major function, but apparently that is not the case for Dunmanians. Could this be due to the fact that the school culture/environment left such a negative impact on us that people just don’t like the school? Or is it that Dunmanians are just so heartless? Well, it can’t be the latter because on the streets, I know that a lot of the Dunman people do have class gatherings, CCAs gatherings or their own special groups gatherings. But sad to say, nobody cares about the school. I think this speaks a lot about how much the school has actually taught us last time. Hmm, I truly think that there’s a need for them to review their entire education system, I mean there are plenty of instances where results are not everything and instead the process is more important…
