Lessons learnt
I’m back from my Taipei trip and I will blog about my trip over the days, but first thing first, I shall jot down some lessons learnt.
1. NEVER go on a packaged tour, especially if the place is relatively easy to travel about on your own, and you actually know it. I shall elaborate more on this later.
2. NEVER buy things from those shops that the travel agency brings you to, unless you have heard of it already, or you really want/like it. Ok, food stuffs is not that bad, but those ornamental shops, medicinal shops, precious stones/jewelry shops, unless you are with an expert, don’t bother to spend money there.
3. ALWAYS check out the weather distribution for the country before hand. It sucks when it rains, as it means you can’t really do much sight-seeing.
4. PLAN well and do research on your own. It will be chaotic and madness if you embarked on your journey without having an idea of your own objectives. A good plan is essential to ensure that you actually maximize your trip.
The above are the 4 main lessons that I learnt from my trip. I think it will gradually become obvious over the next few days once I actually blogged in detail of my trip.
