Happy New Year!!!
Well, all those regular viewers of my blog will realise how I’ve changed the whole skin and layout. This is so much cuter and nicer right? A New Year calls for new things and changes, just like how I’ve laid out my desires for this year 2005. So called new year resolutions? Haha…
Oh well, when I look back at what I did for 2005 countdown, I inevitably think of the past year’s countdown. Surprisingly, I can’t seem to remember what I did last year!!!! Hmmm, most likely it’s because I countdown at home la~ But for 2003 countdown, I remember being at CX house with the dazhi gang and then finally going to Hong’s house to play mahjong. And then for 2002, I think had a mini squad outing at Orchard Road or somewhere along those lines…. But seriously, yesterday was my first time at the esplanade, and it was quite fun (pity no fireworks). Haha, look at my wish list and I think you might be able to guess how I intend to spend a memorable ’06 countdown, but then, that will only occur if a lot of things are in place…..
I find it so amazing that I can spend every day of the new year, with different groups of people. Cool right? Not that I don’t have buddies, but its exasperating when everyone all just want to stay at home and take a good break (actually I can’t fault them, many are still trying to cope with their new unit life or completing their course, they really do not have the kind of freedom which I have). Oh well, maybe next year, when its countdown for 2006, everyone will have the energy to celebrate its arrival, cause 06 is such an important year for us.
Why am I talking about 2006 when 2005 has just started? I guess this speaks plenty of how much I want 2006 to arrive. Ok, maybe I talk a bit about 2005. It is significant because it will be the last full year that I will spend in Singapore (HOPEFULLY), before I leave for my studies… So that means it’s the year in which I must truly use to spend more time with my friends, staying in contact with some, meeting new people and knowing new friends. Or else it will be real sad, cause I can’t spend the next 4 years with some very important people in my life.
Of course, I must study. God, I’m still typing and not working hard. Later I think I must finish the regression chapters or else I sure die for the papers… Another thing is I must get is my class 3 driving license, cause I need it to do so many things in life. And I don’t want to wait anymore. Guess year 2005 is a busy year in which I learn new things and attain new qualifications.
Hmmm, what else is there about 2005? How can I forget, NDP 2005, my camp’s project for the year. I do hope it will be nice and memorable (hopefully the background work ain’t that taxing and that the rewards will be plentiful!!!), and that at the end of the day, things will work out and I can end 2005 (and my NSF life?) in peace.
Once again, Happy New Year to all who read my blog and please drop a message here and there! Thanks!
