Ops
Woah, I just finished one day of ops bacinate duties at Changi Airport today and it was real tiring man.
Ok, I know I should be one of the last few to complain since I’m not really prowling (cause of my physique), but still, there are plenty of administrative matters over there that can literally drive one nuts. First, the whole handing over process was long, as there were a lot of issues to be ironed out. After which, you tend to get irritated by the ops room of both my unit and the one that outsourced the duty to us (I shall not name who…). Worse, it becomes a headache especially when they call to tell you to do things even though it might be redundant (ie. they are doing it simply for the sake of doing so). So you can say that I had a hell of time sorting out things.
Of course, the main bad thing about yesterday was a lot of people visited the installation. Well, they are like all extremely concerned about our well being (or should I say their own too?), which are both good and bad. I think the police must have hated it whenever we changed command, cause it means they have to renegotiate and settle stuff as well as entertain us. I think they only prefer it when the original unit IC of it does the duty since there will be less admin matters and outstanding issues to settle.
Well, enough of my ramblings. I mean I am like making my mood bad now only. Oh, I think next week will be better (as long as the days passed by peacefully). Hehe, oh I’m paying a visit to the gym tomorrow. Haha.
