Brief update

I must apologise for not blogging over the past few days as you could say I was quite confused over certain things, and I was quite busy running all over Singapore. Let me briefly describe.

I went to Yen’s 21st birthday party. It was a rather small gathering of people, and most of us knew each other (but I pity her SMU friends who were quite aloof from the rest of us). I had a good time meeting up with the guys – I guess birthdays are great occasions that allow us to meet up consistently. Hmm, it is quite sad that I only got 1 more party to attend with them, I truly think I will miss them… Of course, I most certainly will miss the 21st birthdays of some of my closest pals…

Yes, knowing that it is about time for me to fly is actually quite a depressing thing. Ok, i know this sounds weird but I think I should be very frank. Yes, I can’t wait to start school over in Cambridge for it has been my dream school since I was a little kid. Ok, maybe it wasn’t always my first choice, but the chance to live and study there certainly ranks high up on my list. But still, I think I will miss Singapore greatly. And that certainly includes you! Oh well, I don’t know how but do keep in touch be it email, msn, blogs, friendsters, webcam, skype, etc.

Anyway coming back, I visited NUS with my OBS watchmates on Mondays. It was fun taking a look at all the different hostel rooms! Hmm, hopefully I get a huge room over in the UK with wonderful facilities, but I think that’s overly hopeful on my part since it is 500 years old…

Oh, we went to Nick’s house too. I find it amusing that he thought that his huge terrace house is a semi-detached one. I must say his mom was really generous by treating us to such a huge selection of fruits! Well, it was indeed very nice of him to invite us over.

Wednesday I met up with my watchmates again. Well, just the overseas people and the SMU people. We had a great sharing session, and I guess we also had a fun time helping Kenn do his “analytical skills” module questions. They are certainly fun to do, provided that they are not gradable. Hehe.

Thursday and Friday I spent most of it at COMEX. Hmm, will blog more about that in my next post.
