End of a chapter...

Last Friday was Teaching Scholarship Presentation Ceremony (TSPC), and I must say that I am indeed relieved that it is finally over.

Ok, for those who don’t know, I’ve already received my award (actually certificate) 2 years ago from the Minister. However, since male scholars only depart for studies after 2 years of National Service, I was kindly ‘invited’ to help my peers in the TSPC, and the performance that is required. And, by some weird stroke of luck (more of mutual sabotage), I had to act in the performance. Oh well, but I must say that all the rehearsals were really fun, and I must say it feels good to finally pull off the entire performance without any glitches. Oh, I must say that the response from the audience was great! Looks like we did a good job for the whole show!

Ok, the ceremony also marked the end of closed to 1 month worth of rehearsals and gathering for the overseas scholars. I must say we had a lot of fun together, and hopefully we can carry on having so much fun and joy together. Hehe, I don’t think it will be that difficult since most of us are in UK, so I guess that should allow us to meet up frequently while studying.

Well, I guess its time I start saying my goodbyes to all the people around me. After hearing from the seniors, I guess I must really bid a proper farewell to my friends. Ok, so if you are reading this, and you think we haven’t met up in ages, please leave a comment or call me or sms/msn me! We really need to meet up!

Ok, a busy week ahead and plenty of farewells coming up – the US bound people are already starting to leave so I shall be visiting the airport frequently to send them off. Ok, I hope to hear from those that I haven’t seen in ages!
